One of the the most remarkable aspects of working in mental health is observing and witnessing how amazing and resilient people can be. However, we also know that living with mental health or neurodevelopmental challenges can be difficult and challenging.

1 in 10 young people experience mental health problems from the age of 5 to 16.

50% of mental health conditions present before the age of 14 years old.

It is estimated that 1 in 6 people in the past week experienced a common mental health problem.

Mental health belongs to all of us regardless of our gender, race, religion, age, ability, culture, ethnicity or preferences. Mental health challenges impact on individuals and their families. Research and practice now tells us that healing takes place in safe and trusting relationships.

For the children, adults and families who we see, the aim is help improve the pathway to better mental health and wellbeing. This happens through the relationships that we develop, exploring the mental health difficulties and providing clear plans for treatment.

Our aim is to make it easier for people to find and access private mental health assessments and treatments. We work as a team, and believe that the right support can improve understanding and unlock challenges for many people.

Taking the first step to accessing help and support takes courage. As mental health specialists, we can join people on their journeys to understand themselves more and to improve their lives.

It is because of all the people I have work with including my patients and mental health clinicians that Eleos Clinic was created.

Eleos Clinic is a private mental health service designed around the needs of young people, families, adults, clinicians and our community partners today.

Founder and Psychiatrist, Dr Fareeha Amber Sadiq

Eleos was founded on these core values and beliefs:

We are Compassionate

We deliver the highest standards of compassionate care to our community. We practice compassion with one another as clinicians. We continue to ask ourselves, is our service providing care that we would like for ourselves and our family members?

We Respect

We always respect the culture, beliefs, issues, strengths and preferences of our clients and their families, our team members, and our partners in the community.

We are Effective

We deliver well researched interventions and keep our skills and knowledge up to date. We ensure that each patient receives personalised care and evaluate outcomes to ensure that our team are making a difference.

We are Collaborative

We provided integrated and holistic care. We bring our own professional expertise and believe in seeing and hearing the lived experience of the children or young people and families.

"Together we care for you and your family. We work with the Eleos community to enable children and families thrive, improve their lives and shine their light. Building resilience, strategies and tools for the future."

Eleos Clinic has been established for children, young people and families who are looking for a collaborative and holistic mental health service which focusses on recovery, healing and resilience.

We practice compassionate wisdom - providing a caring and responsive service for children, young people and our families.

Healthy communities raise children. We work with our partners to help enable this and provide information and tools accessbile to everyone.

Therapeutic relationships can help to lead to understanding and change. I believe that mental health care has to adapt to the needs of our children, young people and families. Eleos Clinic is here to be part of that change in raising standards in mental health care.
