DISHA PATTANI

Assistant Psychologist
Pronouns: She/Her

Sometimes the smallest moments of kindness and understanding can go a long way.

I’m Disha, a Psychology graduate from Goldsmiths, University of London, with a Master’s degree in Clinical Neurodevelopmental Sciences from King's College London. I have also trained at Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust in Child, Adolescent, and Family Work, which further deepened my interest in emotional development, relationships, and understanding the experiences that shape children, young people, and families.

Throughout my experience as a Pastoral Support Assistant and Teaching Assistant, I have supported children and young people with a range of emotional, social, and neurodevelopmental needs. These roles have shown me the importance of patience, empathy, and building trusting relationships, as well as how meaningful even small moments of understanding and connection can be in helping young people feel safe, valued, and supported. These experiences continue to strengthen my passion for pursuing a career within clinical psychology and therapeutic work.

In line with Eleos Clinic Value's, I believe in creating a warm, compassionate, and supportive space where individuals feel truly heard and understood. I am passionate about helping make mental health care more accessible, particularly for individuals and families from diverse cultural and social backgrounds, and value the importance of recognising each person’s unique experiences and story.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, dancing, and creating content, particularly around food.
