I am a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with extensive experience in diagnosing, treating and managing a range of emotional and neurodevelopmental conditions in children and young people. I believe that mental health is the foundation for a young person’s overall wellbeing and I strive to create a supportive environment where young people and families feel heard, understood, and hopeful for their future.

I have graduated from Imperial College London, with a MBBS and BSc in Medical Sciences. I completed training in the West Midlands Deanery. I am proud to work as a doctor in the NHS, with over sixteen years of experience working in both community and inpatient mental health settings.
I believe in a holistic,, compassionate, patient-centred approach to assessment and management, in order to gain a better understanding and help young people and families to achieve their goals.

I have expertise in the assessment and management of a range of mental health conditions as well as neurodevelopmental conditions including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Autism Spectrum Conditions. I have extensive expertise in working with children and young people with intellectual disabilities and I also have an interest in the interplay between mental and physical health. I also have skills in using a range of therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioural and systemic approaches, and psychopharmacology, allowing for a holistic and multi-disciplinary approach to care.
